Anna Bell Mclaughlin

Anna Bell McLaughlin, 98, of La Grande, died July 16 at her home.

A celebration of life was held Monday at the Summerville Baptist Church. Loveland Funeral Chapel and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.

Anna was born Nov 4, 1910, to Joseph and Mary Ann (Rossa) Makowski in Loup City, Neb. She was a charter member of the Summerville Baptist Church and was a very outgoing and giving person, always wanting to help others.

She is survived her daughter, Roberta Woollum, of Union; brother, Lawrence Makowski of White Hall, Mont.; sister, Verg Cook of Cole Camp, Mo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son Emmette Jr.; and daughter, Mary Cecil.
