Alice Tuey

Alice Irene Tuey, 93, of La Grande, died Feb. 19 at a local care center in La Grande.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Loveland Funeral Chapel, 1508 Fourth St., La Grande.

Alice was born April 11, 1916, to Peter Harold and Clara Anna (Baske) Schuler in Chicago. Alice had two daughters, Marta and Kathy. She has lived in this area since July of 2003, coming from Chicago.

She enjoyed traveling and dancing, and was an avid baseball fan.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Marta Drummond and Kathy and her husband, Richard Holecek, of La Grande; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
