Alice Lillian Arnson

Alice Lillian Arnson, age 89, of La Grande, died Friday, May 16, 2003 at the Grande Ronde Hospital.
A graveside memorial service will begin at 11 am on Saturday, May 31 at Grandview cemetery in La Grande with Pastor Tim Barton officiating.


Mrs. Arnson was born September 20, 1913 to Oscar and Caroline (Wennerberg) Nord in a little log cabin in Connersville, Wisconsin. She attended school in Connersville until the family moved to Red Wing, MN during her 8th grade. She met the love of her life, Warren Arnson, and they were married November 28, 1936. Warren preceded her in death in June of 1999. They moved to Oregon in 1939. Mrs. Arnson worked at St. Joseph
