Alexandra "Sandy" Norgan Lund

Alexandra Norgan "Sandy" Lund, age 65, of La Grande, died April 20, 2014 at the Grande Ronde Hospital. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the La Grande Church of the Nazarene. Those who wish may make contributions in her name to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.Sandy was born on April 21, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. She later moved to California where she graduated from Santa Monica High School. She attended various colleges. In 1986 she came to Eastern Oregon and in 1987 she began working as the City Recorder for the City of La Grande. She enjoyed photography reading and was known for her sense of humor.She is survived by her son, Thomas Lund of Ft. Lewis, Washington; aunt, Violet Norgan of Michigan and other relatives and friends.
