Alberta Wolfe

Alberta Wolfe, 93, of La Grande, died November 30, 2005 at a local hospital. Alberta was born in Adams, Oregon on May 19, 1912, she was the oldest of five children of Albert and Edith Kirby.

Alberta was a retired teacher whose greatest joys were the love of her family and friends, her God and church, and music. She leaves her husband of 70 years, Harmon Wolfe, two daughters, Kay Warren of Superior, Montana, and Susan Mercer of Kirkland, Washington. She also leaves one son, Dr. Jeffry Wolfe, of Boring, Oregon, plus numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held December 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Baptist Church. A fellowship for family and friends will follow.
